HomeMy WebLinkAboutBylaw 1859 - Repealing Bylaw3(nlechill COUNTY BYLAW NO 1859 REPEALING BYLAW A BYLAW OF KNEEHILL COUNTY, IN THE PROVINCE OF ALBERTA, TO REPEAL INOPERATIVE, OBSOLETE, EXPIRED, SPENT AND INEFFECTIVE BYLAWS WHEREAS, Section 7 of the Municipal Government Act, R.S.A. 2000, CM-26, as amended, provides Council with the authority to pass bylaws for municipal purposes; AND WHEREAS, Section 63 of the Municipal Government Act, R.S.A. 2000, CM-26, as amended, empowers a Council of a municipality to pass a bylaw which omits or provides for the repeal of a bylaw or provision of a bylaw that is inoperative, obsolete, expired, spent or otherwise ineffective; AND WHEREAS, the Council of Kneehill County wishes to repeal inoperative, obsolete, expired spent and ineffective bylaws; NOW THEREFORE, the Council of Kneehill County, duly assembled, enacts as follows: All bylaws identified as inoperative, obsolete, expired, spent or ineffective, as described in Schedule A, attached hereto and forming part of this bylaw, are hereby repealed. 2. This bylaw comes into effect upon third reading of this bylaw. READ a first time on this 19h day of July, 2022. READ a second time on this 19h day of July, 2022. UNANIMOUS permission for third reading given in Council on the 19h day of July, 2022.
