WHEREAS, pursuant to the Municipal Government Act, Chapter M-26, Revised Statutes of Alberta 2000, as amended, a Municipal Council has authority to govern and the authority to pass Bylaws respecting the municipality, including services provided by or on behalf of the Municipality; and WHEREAS, pursuant to the Municipal Government Act, Chapter M-26, Revised Statutes of Alberta 2000, as amended, a Municipal Council has authority to govern and the authority to pass Bylaws respecting the municipality, including establishing fees for licenses, permits and approvals that are higher for persons or businesses who do not reside or maintain a place of business in the municipality; and WHEREAS, the Municipal Council deems it appropriate to establish rates, fees and charges for the various licenses, permits, goods and services, provided by Kneehill County; and NOW THEREFORE, the Council of Kneehill County, in the Province of Alberta, duly assembled, enacts as follows: 1. This bylaw shall be cited as the Master Rates Bylaw. 2. The annual rates, fees, and charges for various goods, licenses, permits and services shall be established as per Schedule "A", attached to and forming part of this Bylaw. 3. Master Rates Bylaw 1831 is hereby repealed 4. That this bylaw shall take effect at third reading. READ a first time on this 26' day of April, 2022. READ a second time on this 26th day of April, 2022.
