Any business or any person providing contract services to the County shall provide their
Workers' Compensation Board (W.C.B.) account number to the office staff. The office staff
shall obtain, from W.C.B., a certificate of registration upon commencement of the contract and a
letter of clearance upon termination of the contract. Should a contractor's W.C.B. account not be
paid at termination of his contract with the County then the accounts payable department shall
withhold the applicable W.C.B. arrears from the contractors final cheque and directly submit
these arrears to the W.C.B.
