Deputy Reeve Wittstock called the meeting to order at 8:30 a.m.

That the Committee of the Whole approves the adoption of the minutes
of the September 17, 2024, Committee of the Whole meeting, as
presented.

2. New Business
2.1 Economic Development Plan
The Chair called for a recess at 9:46 a.m. and called the meeting back to
order at 9:54 a.m. with all previously mentioned members present.

That the Committee of the Whole recommend to Council to accept the
Economic Development Plan as amended.

That the Committee of the Whole receive the 2023 Year in Review for
information.

2.4 Youth Scholarship — Idea Discussion
The Chair called for a recess at 10:57 a.m. and called the meeting back to
order at 11:02 a.m. with all previously mentioned members present.

That the Committee of the Whole recommend that Council move forward
with the exploration of youth engagement framework.

2.2 Delegation- Kneehill Adult Learning - Community Grant to Non -Profit
Organizations
Emma Dabrowski from Kneehill Adult Learning and Newcomer Services
presented to Council. Kneehill Adult Learning has applied for a Kneehill
County Community Grant for Non -Profit Organizations and chose to
present their application in person to address any potential questions.
All Kneehill Community Grant Applications will be presented to Council at
the October 22, 2024, Regular Council Meeting.
3. Closed Session
The Chair called for a recess at 11:31 a.m. and called the meeting back to order
at 11 A0 a.m. with all previously mentioned members present.
