AG SERVICES 5.2 Amricultural Service Board and Parks
5.2.1 ASB Weed and Pest Inspector Appointments
176/23 Deputy Reeve King moved that Council appoints, for the term of their
employment with Kneehill County, Melanie Vergara,William Hoppins,
Kaden Johnson, Danielle Varga and Peyton Johnson as Weed and Pest
Inspectors and Soil Conservation Officers for Kneehill County under
the Alberta Weed Control, Soil Conservation, and Agricultural Pest
Acts.

5.2.2 Agriculture Service Board 2023-2025 Business Plan
177/23 Councillor Christie moved that Council adopts the Agricultural Service
Board 2023-2025 Business Plan as recommended by the Agricultural
Service Board.

5.2.3 Growing Kneehill Event
178/23 Councillor McGhee moved that Council approves Option 1 as
indicated in the report with an increase of $22,200 in the Ag Services
Budget for the hiring of a private event contractor to aid in the delivery
of the Growing Kneehill Long Table Dinner and Country Market, to be
funded from the operating budget to be offset from the Agricultural
Service Board grant.

Rates.

#1884, that being a bylaw for the 2023 Tax Rates.

#1885, that being a bylaw for the 2023 Trochu Recreation Area Special
Tax.

184/23 Councillor Cunningham moved that Council give second reading to
Bylaw # 1885, that being a bylaw for the 2023 Trochu Recreation Area
Special Tax.

reading to Bylaw # 1885, that being a bylaw for the 2023 Trochu
