227/22 Councillor Christie moved that Council approve Policy 8-20 Public
Safety General, with amendment to Section 7.0 Jurisdiction, with the
addition of a portion of Highway 27 between Highway 805 and Range
Road 263.

228/22 Councillor McGhee moved that Council approve Policy 8-21 Use of
Force/Enforcement Tools, as presented.

229/22 Councillor Christie moved that Council approve Policy 8-22 Traffic,
Pursuit and Emergency Responses, as presented.

232/22 Councillor Penner moved that Council approve the Fire Services
Mutual Aid Agreement with Rocky View County, as presented.

5.3.3 Capital Equipment Plan; Three Hills Tender Replacement
233/22 Councillor McGhee moved that Council amend the Capital Equipment
Replacement of the Three Hills Tender for an amount not to exceed
$575,000 and furthermore that the equipment is to be funded through
the Municipal Sustainable Funding (MSI).

NEW BUSINESS 7.0 New and Unfinished Business
7.1 Bylaw 1859; Repeal ng Bylaw
234/22 Councillor Penner moved that Council provide first reading to Bylaw
1859, that being a bylaw to repeal obsolete, redundant, and outdated
bylaws.

235/22 Councillor Christie moved that Council provide second reading to
Bylaw 1859.
CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY
236/22 Councillor McGhee moved that Council provide unanimous consent for
third and final reading to Bylaw 1859.

237/22 Councillor Fobes moved that Council provide third reading to Bylaw
1859.

7.2 Kneehill 4-H Sponsorship
238/22 Councillor McGhee moved that Council provide sponsorship to the
Kneehill 4-H Multi -Club in the amount of $500.00 to help cover the
costs of hosting the 4-H Archery Camp in Carbon.

7.3 Three Hills Discovery Night
239/22 Councillor Penner moved that Council receive for information the
Three Hills Community Discovery Night Report.

Force Agreement
240/22 Councillor Christie moved that Council approve the Medical Services
Retention and Recruitment Agreement as presented.

7.5 Minister of Municipal Affairs -- Meeting„Reguest Invitation
241/22 Councillor McGhee moved that Council accept the invitation from the
Municipal Services Division for information.

242/22 Councillor Cunningham moved that Council direct Administration to
bring back the topics of ministerial concern discussion to the
Committee of the Whole.

7_6 Alberta Municipal Taxation Professionals Association
243/22 Councillor McGhee moved that Council authorize sponsorship of the
Alberta Municipal Taxation Professionals Association Conference in
the amount of $500 with funds to come from the 2022 Operating
Budget.

244/22 Councillor Christie moved that Council provide second reading to
proposed Bylaw 1857 for the purpose of amending Land Use Bylaw
1808 by redesignating a portion of SE-22-30-25-W4 from Agriculture
District to Light Industrial District.

245/22 Councillor Penner moved that Council provide third reading to Bylaw
1857.
