It was noted that the new age limit on calfhood vaccin-
ations of four to eight months should be publicized in order
that the owners of the calves would be warned that the
vaccinations must be done much earlier than in former years
Also that Dr Greenway should be advised that Council had
decided to co tinue with the system of Township Captains for
the vaccination program

Mr Rock moved that this meeting request that the Council
purchase a portable weigh scale as outlined by the previous
correspondence and that the following rental schedule be
set up
A rental for anyone being over 20 miles from Three Hills
be $5.00 per ay
From 10 o 20 miles at $7 50 per day
Under 10 miles at $10.00 per day

Gordon Park bp set up to purchase the above scale Carried
The meeting then adjourned for dinner from 12 00 to
1 00 P.M
Mr Gord n King, Secretary - Treasurer of the Municipal
District, rep rted regarding his investigation of a possible
case of sleep ng sickness of horses in this District Mr
King stated t at he, along with the R C,M P., had investig-
ated regardin7 the report of a possible case of sleeping
sickness of t o horses located at Grantville, a subdivision
just east of rhree Hills The veterinarian from Acme had
been called aid he had also inspected the animals At the
present time, the horses had been moved out of sight of the
general publi and a close check was being kept on them

also reported that Mr Barry Boese had been

Mr Rock stated that he had read an ad placed by the
Government of Alberta in the Drumheller Mail stating that
Hearings would be held regarding the subject of the
operation of various Boards
Mr Loos ore moved that this District submit a letter
to the Inquir protesting the fact that decisions of many
of the Govern ent Boards is final and that there is no
right of appeal to the Courts Carried
Mr Pete s moved that Mr Gordon Park be authorized
to attend the Field Day to be held at Brooks this coming
Thursday begi ning at 10 00 A M Motion carried
