Multiple Residences on a Single Land Title February 14,2017 55/17
Purpose:
To establish a policy for connection to the rural water system for multiple dwellings on a single land title
Policy Guidelines/Procedures:
1. When adjacent to a rural water line a minimum of one curb stop is required for a single land title with
a dwelling.
2. If a second dwelling already exists or if the second dwelling is to be constructed,the original curb stop
may service both dwellings but is still restricted to the potential maximum of 4 igpm at 40 psi.
3. The second dwelling could have the option of increasing the volume of water through Policy 14-15.
4. The second dwelling may have a second curbstop placed on the land title by following the new
connection procedures which include; water modeling acceptance, payment of fees.
5. In no instance shall one water connection service more than one Ian i-t .
