DELEGATIONS 3.0 Delegations
3.1 Acme Curling Club,Glen Rieger
Glen Rieger was presented, by Deputy Reeve Wittstock, a cheque in the
amount of$9000.00. Kneehill County donated 25% of the matching
fund for Community Facility Enhancement Program Grant, to assist in
the costs of repairs to the Acme Curling Rink Facility.

6.1 Bank Reconciliation-July to August 2017
467/17 Councillor Calhoun moved to receive the July and August 2017 Bank
Reconciliation as information.

BUSINESS ARISING 7.0 Business Arising from Previous Minutes
7.1 Kneehill Wellness Centre Request
468/17 Councillor Calhoun moved a one-time donation, to the Kneehill
Wellness Centre, in the amount of$1000.00 with funds to come from
the 2017 Operating Contingency.

NEW BUSINESS 8.0 New Business
8.1 Trocha Flapjack Fiesta
469/17 Councillor Calhoun moved to authorize the attendance of the Division
6 and Division 7 Councillor's to attend the 2017 Trochu Flapjack
Fiesta and Community Showcase being held on October 25, 2017.

8.2 CAO Report
CAO Report included a summary of Councils initiatives and thanking
them for their dedication to Kneehill County.
8.3 Village of Carbon Request for CAO Services
470/17 Councillor Wittstock moved that Kneehill County Council approve the
plan to assist the Village of Carbon with CAO services at a rate of$80
per hour plus travel expenses for a maximum of two days per week,
until and no later than February 1, 2018.

10.1 Drumheller and District Solid Waste Association- Minutes from
the August 17, 2017 meeting were provided.
10.2 Drumheller RCMP Provincial Statistics- Drumheller RCMP
January to August Statistics were provided to Council.
471/17 Councillor Holsworth moved that Council receive the Council and
Committee reports as presented.
