Mayor Loretta Ling Members of Trochu Town Council From Mac deBeaudrap, ESMC Date- March 1 2004 Issue Firefighter recognition and the Alberta Emergency Services Medals Ceremony Background On April 30th, 2004, there will be 47 Kneehill Regional Firefighters and 6 Kneehill Ambulance personnel receiving the Alberta. Emergency Services Medal Arrangements are being made to have them presented in Trochu by the MLA The days activities will prove to be a very classy event Discussion It has been decided to hold the event at the Trochu Community hall as that location will hold the 150 plus people expected to attend and the fact that the majority of the firefighters receiving the award are from the communities of Trochu and Torrington. I would like to request that the Town of Trochu support this special event by contributing towards the hall rental for the day There will be 18 Firefighters from Trochu receiving awards at this ceremony Financial Implications The reception hall Recommendation That Council contribute towards the cost of the Hall rental for the awards ceremony IN • 1� it To- Mayor Annon Hovde Members of Linden Village Council From Mac deBeaudrap, ESMC Date.
