X Transportation and Utilities Report May 26 1999 1 For the past two weeks the graders have been working twelve hrs /day to catch up for the wet weather 2 The gravel crew will be going twelve hrs /day this week to help get some more stone on the road 3 Otto and I looked at the Grainger road in front of Alan Beckers the other day I have it scheduled to be ripped up and regravelled I believe Otto s priority is to have the road placed on the next road program rotationP %yli,xl7Grs 4 The AgPro road is going anything but the way it should due to weather and trying to light a fire under the contractor The road crew will have a mile up to gride on the Hazel project before the little bit of AgPro is finished 5 Our crack filling isn t going that smooth with all the rain we have been having The boys have been doing fencing and seeding when not crackfillmg or patching 6 I meet with Blair Stone and Ken Kneivel down on Gordons flat to discuss some water problems due to springs not being capped after seismic went through We will be meeting with water resources later on to see if we can find a solution to everyone s problem 7 We have completed our test holes at the Hazelton pit We could only get down around 15 feet with the hoe -:7-d-T .rkg-w-! because of water levels and the pit under mining It is real hard to get •i good estimate when you can t sec, the quality of gravel your bringing up from under water 8 I d like to put the dust control ad in the paper this week after I work out some details with Western Road We ,G?mEro -,VRk1S need to set a program up where all the county does is blade the rd prior to application If someone want to put spec crude down it is up to them to pay extra for the blading and no extra gravel will be hauled just for dust control • 9 I have a radio update for council Tin oPalf SFE°P 2oFor
