Road Committee Report APRIL 20 1998
The following were present for the tour

1 Charlebois /Barnes ME 18 29 22 -4
The road committee looked at the options available for Mr Barnes by accessing from the south side to get
into the land that was previously being entered through Robert Charlebois Mr Barnes has an easement off
the County road through Bill Wiesner's to his property which entails crossing a railway line and a creek
Road committee discussed the option of building the undeveloped road allowance to the west of the
easement access but the permits needed to cross the rail line and creek it would not be of any benefit
Road Committee recommends that nothing be done and Mr Barnes continue using the easement
through Bill Wiesner's land at S W 18 29 22 -4
2 Mary Cadman Road Complaint S.E 14 23 29 -4
Road Committee discussed the road condition going into Cadmans and the location of the houses built in
the coulees There is no way to provide a solid year round road up to the expectations of normal road
allowance when these tails are carved out of water runs
Road Committee recommends to continue maintenance as is
3 Earl Jeninga Sign Request N W 10 31 26 4
Mr Jeninga requested a No Exit sign be erected off #582 for southbound traffic
Road Committee recommends a `No Exit' sign be erected at this location for southbound traffic
4 Mike Page Road Speed Limit Reduced Allingham West
Road Committee recommends no reduction in the speed limit
5 Ian Anhorn Request for approach/driveway N W 15 32 26 4
Mr Anhorn s approach drains both ways and a new culvert was placed to the south of the approach last
year to take the water across the road to the west Road committee felt that the existing approach is
adequate
Road Committee recommends that should Mr Anhorn require a new approach and driveway that he
be given permissions to build an approach /driveway 30 m to the south of the existing and remove the
old approach at this expense

6 Dan Wirch Culvert request S.E 17 33 26 4
The water on the south side of the road allowance can t drain to the west to the creek due to a high ditch
Road Committee recommends a 600MM culvert be placed across the road to the north and water
will run down the north ditch to the creek
7 Max Reichel Request for Warning Sign S W 13 33 25 -4 l .2oi
Mr Reichel feels this is a dangerous intersection and a Warning sign be placed ahead to warn people of
the stop sign onto the ship seal
Road Committee recommends that no sign be erected as there is over 400 in of sight distance to the
existing sign
8 Ken Cunningham Approach request N W 11 33 24 -4
Request for another approach that would be for access into a new site for a shop north of his quarter An
existing approach is already established that would need widening �y <,94-7
Road Committee recommends that Mr Cunningham be given permission to widen and build these
approaches at his cost
9 Schmautz Pit
Road Committee drove by the Schmautz pit to look into a concern about a trailer on the land Saw no
trailer
10 Keivers's Lake
Road Committee gained access to the park on the road off of #583
Road Committee recommends Mr McCook get prices for the cost of overlaying with hot mix using
our paver
The road committee also looked at the camp kitchen and the stove
Road Committee recommends Mr McCook have part of the roof redone and put colored tin on the
roof and sides of the camp kitchen Also redo the stove to get it into better shape
to aa;d
