HomeMy WebLinkAbout1996-05-27 Council MinutesP W S. REPORT MAY 27th, 1996
1 Gravel crew dust getting going gravelling some roads They will be down on the
Dresser Project hauling gravel for the culvert for a while
2 Road Crew working on last inile of Dresser Project between rain
3 Sodbuster is working down in Division 93 on some projects for a while
4 Paving machine is in We 11 get going when the weather straightens out
5 Crackfilling still going on when weather is right When the boys aren't
crackfilling they are washing bridges and strutting culverts
6 Work on the bridge on the south Huxley road at the Bigelow dam is scheduled to
start at the beginning of the month
7 We are now working on washes along the sides of the roads and ditches that
occurred this sprung We haven't even started work on the memo list yet so it
would help us out if, when you receive a request to have work done, you could
explain to your ratepayers we are behind in work and more than likely won't be
able to act on their requests this year
8 We are having a tough time tightening up gravel roads with all this unsettled
weather If we get some hot days we will be okay Everybody s getting
frustrated, but there is nothing we can do until the weather changes, so a little
patience is needed
9 Road Committee has an appointment at 10 00 a.m down at the walking bridge at
Beynon on Friday, May 31, 1996
