ROAD COMMITTEE REPORT JUNE 4, 1993 M.D. of Kneehill #48
1 Brosseau - Rip wrapping not done on first culvert on
South end - road measures 28 3" and looks good
S E 14- 31 -24 -4 Fence needs to be completed, grass to
be seeded and gravel needed on approachs. Two miles
2 Beeton - Fence Complete
3 Edwards - Low level crossing needs about 200 yards of
pit run to build up creek bottom; the sides of banks
going in and out need to be cut down and build up
the roads.
4 Ralph Loosemore - Road should firm up by itself
5 Perry Stock Pile - Crop coming up and it looks good.
6. Janz Stock Pile - Crop up and looking good
7 Allen Toews - SR 806 approach for safety reasons the
second approach to the south should be removed and a
service road be built from first approach to
the south and join up the other entrances
8 Linden West Base Course - Needs one more coat of
chips but will be swept first and after, should be
done two weeks after June 4, 1993.
9 Marvin Kiem - Fence is approximately 8 feet to close
to the road beside Neil Hempel
10 Michael Kiem - From fenceline to grassline 211, road
is 25' and other side is 21' Problem?
11. Road to Neufeld's - New trailer - under construction
1 /10 KM Blade grade - culvert should go in on the
fenceline
12 Grainger Road - 1 7 miles should be complete by
the end of June 4, 1993 with SB90
13. Oilwell Road - S.E. 14- 29 -24 -4 measures 22' at North
end and 21 1/2 at south end, very bad construction
Ditch cleaning to be done and road needs much
attention
14 Blackie - South gate removed and texas gate clean on
tracks
15 Varga Project - take a reading on both sides and if it
shows we will gain water drainage we will put a pipe
in
16 Yeild Signs - necessary on West 1/2 18 -30 -24
after construction finished.
17 Meding Blade Grade - recommend no blade grade be done
18 Opinac - 10- 33 -23 -4, Approach not started on east side
of road 3/10 KM long and is very narrow 18"
about, only good enough for oilfield traffic
19. Atlantis - 14 of 2 -33 -24 - 8/10 KM - M D is
responsible for grading 261- but needs to be shaped
first sloping of sides.
20. B Schmidt - West 3 & 10 -33 -24 Drainage problem - ask
Rick on Monday
21. Silver Stock Pile - S W 16 -34 -24 Looks good
