12 (42) Letter received from the Village of Rumsey

Association it will be opting out of the

13.(41) Letter received from AAMD & C advising
anyone who has a suspended licence may not
operate heavy equipment such as a grader,
scraper, packer, etc Executive Committee recommend
a co py of this letter be given to each foreman,
a notation be included in the 1989 wage contract if necessary
and recommend when a person is hired, he must provide
the M D with proof he does in fact hold a valid driver's
licence ( provide us with an abstract from the Province
as to the status of his licence) and any employee must
notify his foreman if his licence is ever suspended
14 (40) Letter from AAMD & C enclosing information about
a road numbering system created by the County of Strathcona
Executive Committee recommend to accept and file as
information
15 (39) Allied Land Services request permission from the M D
to locate a well within 100 meters of an M D road
intersection The well is located on 6- 11- 29 -24 -4
Executive Committee recommend Mr Cunningham review the Rye x
site and if he has no problem with the location, the request
be granted as long as any future development which may be
required on the site is located in accordance with the M D
land use by -law setback requlirements
16 (38) Letter from AAMD & C advising they have installed a
Fax machine and providing a directory of Fax numbers\�e
for approved suppliers, some provincial government
numbers and numbers for some Municipal Districts and
Counties. Executive Committee recommend to accept and
file as information
17 (37) Received complaint regarding condition of Lots 37 to 43
in Block 4 Swalwell. Owner has moved and left no
forwarding address (formerly lived in Irricana) Neighbor

is unhappy about weeds, etc getting into their property.

Executive Committee recommend to refer to the local
councillor for consideration and some solution.
18 (36) Advice from Norman Soder - two users of the park
left without paying. Executive Committee recommend
letters be sent to the owners of the vehicles explaining
park policy and requesting payment of the fees
19.(35) Letter from AAMD & C enclosing a booklet called - Grader
Operators Safety and Loss Prevention Booklet
Executive Committee recommend a copy of the booklet be given
to each grader operator and the Public Works Superintendent.
There was also discussion regarding the need to create a mini
policy book, which could be given to all grader operators,
particularly new operators The book could include policies
regarding snowplowing, backsloping, normal maintenance
required for the grader and safety requirements

20. (34) A copy of a lengthy letter from Hill Top Park
Farm Ltd , addressed to Drumheller Health Unit was
reviewed They were quite unhappy with the inspection
made and refuted the various claims made by the inspector
