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l MR R G CAMPBELL REPORTED BRIEFLY REGARDING THE POSSIBLE PURCHASE OF A NEW TRUCK FOR LINDEN FIRE DEPARTMENT HE SAID A DECISION IS REQUIRED AS TO WHAT WE WILL BE DOING WITH THE OLD TRUCK IF THE NEW TRUCK IS TO BE PURCHASED ALOT OF EQUIPMENT WOULD BE SALVAGABLE FROM THE OLD TRUCK BUT IF LINDEN R F P THE OLD TRUCK IS TO BE KEPT IT WOULD REQUIRE ALOT OF NEW EQUIPMENT FOR THE 1 NEW TRUCK HE FURTHER REPORTED THAT THE VILLAGE OF LINDEN HAS 30,000 00 NOW SET ASIDE FOR THEIR SHARE OF THE PURCHASE AND HE REPORTED THAT THE VILLAGE WILL BE GETTING BACK TO US AT ANOTHER MEETING IN THE NEAR FUTURE MR R A MAERZ MOVED TO ACCEPT AND FILE MR CAMPBELL'S REPORT CARRIED ® THE ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT COVERING THE PERIOD OF JULY 8 TO JULY 22, 1986 WAS THEN REFERRED TO ITEM #1 LINDEN WEST PROJECT SHOULD BE SCHEDULED FOR PAVING AFTER BRIEF ROAD PROGRAM DISCUSSION MR ROBERT BOAKE MOVED THAT TWO MILES WEST OF LINDEN BE ADDED TO ADDITION 'THE BASE COURSE PROGRAM CARRIED THE ADMINISTRATOR FURTHER REPORTED THAT MR.
