Business arising from the Minutes and from Mr Nick Plamna
1. Truck or trailer for Park Attendant - none were purchased or made available
Work was done by A S B Crew
2 Trees at Tolman were planted but were later destroyed by vandels or by
careless campers What is needed is a fence to warn public where the
young trees are planted
3 Power Boat Prohibition on Keivers seems to have been accepted by most
of the public
4 Wood bins were constructed and worked well but a new location would be
preferred by the attendant The small clearing in the trees just south
of the water pump was suggested
5 The change house was moved out of the trees and surrounded by posts but
should probably be moved west to the day pass area of the beach to
accomodate people who do not have campers to change in The board agreed
this was a good suggestion and the house could probably be moved by the
division grader when it does some work in the park.
6 Park roads are okay except the east west road on top of the hill has a very
low centre, the committee agreed to have the division grader come in and
pull the north shoulder of the road down into the lower area and level the
road up
7 The road from #583 to the park is in good shape
8 The well at Keivers had some concrete showing and now has been covered
with gravel
9 The park rates were discussed and it was felt that with the services we
were providing the rates were adequate Nick has not received too many
complaints, mostly compliments for the nice clean quiet park
10 Washroom #6 at the west end of the beach was moved - Bud Haskel will be
contacted by Norman Soder to see if he moved it
11 The Tolman Kitchen was painted this year and the board confirmed the policy
of painting one kitchen per year
12 The Swalwell Dam Park road still needs more screenings to make it good for
travel
13 The water level at Keivers has gone down again but has cleared up some now
that power boats have been banned
14 Dennis Hill of Mobil Oil in Olds said that he could probably provide us with
a large tank suitable for a trailer dumping station if we were in a position
to provide this facility at Keivers Lake This was discussed and Norman Soder
is to get costs for the installation of a station and power changes required
to create this facility
15. Fire pits were discussed and the recommendation of the board was that
20 to 25,24" Diameter Culvert sections be provided for burning pits, 12 of
which be fitted with grates suitable for cooking on Moved by Richard Maerz.

16 Park closing date was discussed with Nick Mamona and September 30, 1981
was set as a closing date pending good weather If it snows or gets
real cold Mr Mamona can ask to have the gates removed earlier Moved by
Otto Hoff Carried
17 Moved by Richard Maerz that Pir Nick Mamona be offered the park attendants
position for next summer pending confirmation of his acceptance by letter
from hum no later than March 30, 1982. Carried
