Mr Berdahl moved acceptance of this report Carried Mr. Jeffery then outlined plans for location of the polling stations, and appo ntments of Deputy Returning Officers and Poll Clerks for the two olling stations One station will be in the Swalwell Communit Center and one in the Lodge Room, Community Center in Carbon. Mrs Kay Elliott will be Deputy Returning, Officer at the Swalwell Polling tation with Firs Terry Schmaltz as Poll Clerk. Mr. Gordon Ward will be Deputy Returning Officer at Carbon with Mrs Dorothy Ward as Poll Clerk Mr Camp ell moved acceptance of this report Carried Mr Jeff ry then reviewed results of nomination day with regard to the School Division for information of the Councillors SIT AS DEV Mr Poole moved that Council do now adjourn and sit as the Development APP. The rooms for the convention CONV have now definitely been reserved for us by the Association, and a list is to be submitted to the Hotel as soon as oossiblL Mr. Fer2 son moved that the Association be notified of the names of all councillors attendinv, the convention with the exception of Division 2 and this name will be submitted immediately following election day Carried ALTA D I S Alberta isaster Services have requested an amendment be made to SERV our Disaster Services By law Number -752 The amendment requested BY-LAW was discussed and Mr Berdahl moved that this matter be tabled CHANGE and a new by-law drafted and brought back to the next meeting; of Council Carried 1978 ASSESS. Plberta Aunicipal Affairs have authorized the use of our 1977 ROLL ADOPTION assessmeat roll for the year 1978, and Mr Jeffery reviewed proposed by -law to adopt the assesmment roll for 1978. Mr. Campbell moved first reading to by -law 837, this being a by -law to adopt the 1977 assessment roll with normal changes, as made by the Assessor, for 1978. Carried Unanimously.
