The meeting of the Council of the iNIunicipal District of I-1IEETING

Mr R W. Brown gave a report regarding the meeting with REPORT OF
the Cabinet i'Iinisters of the evening before. Ie states: C., EIIIET
t,',Lat the i;ii-aisters in attendance had been k dair, Boyle, MEETING
Crawford, Harle, ynclucn, Xoziak, McRae, P.ussell, Schmidt,
,Varr^ck & Yurko I.ir crown stated that Councillors, Eerda al,
.Poole, Erown, Bauer, Ferguson & Litz had attended from
'his Council They had attended a meeting following t1ae
dinner speech by Premier Lougheed with Ministers Russell
and Hyndman. The y,oints ciscussed were road 575 and 583
,nd Highway #27 for paving and briefly discussed the fact
that Grants are not keeping up with inflation They
asked that recreation Capit, ^.1 Grants be used for operation
facilities as well as Capital investments Another point
w--.s the regional planned site for garbage and related
problems. Mr Russell promised a report regarding Torrington
dropping out of the area plan Brief discussions were
held concerning priorities for Grants with the possibilities
of Education and Health maybe suffering at the present
time and recreation going ahead a small amount.

P G Campbell moved that the buried facilities be approved
and to suggest to them that these facilities be buried
on private property if possible Curried

that all minutes of the C a P C be filed as reference

that they be brought before Council only upon request
of a Council lieriber, or when needed for business directly

that this suggestion be followed Carried
The Secretary read a letter from the C R P C regarding PLANNING
the PlanninE k ct ..pro, osed Preliminary Regional Plan in i,CT

The Secretary reported a transmittal of decision regarding
the Freed Hay subdivision application on Lot 2, Elk 2, FRED -It° y

to be provided for in favor of the 11I. D. of "eneehill with /
rovisions for use by all Utility Companies requiring 1/

cerning the water well at Tolm n Park Nunicipal Camp- TOL1,1i 11
site This stated that the most recent water sample had
been taken and tested and had proven bacterially sat-
isfactory No coliforn or faecal coliform bacteria were

The Secretary read a report from I,ir Xing regarding a
beaver problem at tT -e low level crossing over Kneehill BEi'VER

which was reported to R J. Drown by :.Ir Edgar Penner. Mr 36-30-26 -
King stated that he 1-ad phoned the Strathaore Fish &
'•lildlife, but that he was :advised that they had no traf;per
and no funds available at present It was also further
noted that he had talked to 1Ir Ted Paquette regarding

garding Constable Roger Q s of the Drwaheller yr C M P ST0LEN
investigation of the reported stolen Cat He said that r_T

damage had been done Various campers nearby with one

Brief discussion follower: on tTze proposed Ibert Dyck sub-
division in which he has asked fcr 40 acres for a poultry 1 DYCK
operation in the northeast corner of the NE- 15- 31 -25 -4. aUBDW
I!r. Brown reported that one vile of road is required and
who would be responsible for building the road Dis-
cussion followed with almost all Councillors a reefing that
the person responsible for the subdivision would be paying
for the required roadway, but that no action be taken until
