MUNICIPAL DISTRICT OF KNEEHILL #48 ROAD TOUR
APRIL 5th; 1976
A road tour was held on Monday, April 5th, 1976 and following persons were
present.

The following jobs as listed were considered the priority jobs for each
Councillor in their division.
1 Len Brosseau Hill - West of 13- 31 -24 -4 - needs widening for better vision
2 Intersection on West side of 11- 31 -24 -4 - west of Three Hills Rural School -
advised to put up stop signs at a later date
3 The road west of 28 and 33 in 31 -24 -4 - needs grading and gravel for approximately
2 miles. It was noted that Mobil Oil has three wells, Hudson Bay has two wells
and Andex Oil has three wells on this two mile stretch of road
4 Mount Olive Church - north - corner needs cleaned up.
West of 32- 31 -24 -4
5. West of 20 and 17 - 31 -24 -4 - needs grading and gravel for two miles - it was
noted that Andex have two wells and Mobil Oil have three wells on this road
NOTE- Regarding Item 3 and 5 - Both Andex Oil and Mobil Oil had asked that these
roads be improved this year if possible
6. Sunnyslope Road East - South of 17 and 18 in 31 -25 -4 - and Pt of South of
13 - 31 -26 -4 - approximately 2;� miles -
It was also noted that the Sunnyslope drainage project was also looked at
7. Sam Megli Road Diversion - approximately 3� mile on West of 31 and 30 in 30 -25 -4
8 Council stopped at the Tom Baerg's proposed gravel location on SE 24- 30 -26 -4
It was generally agreed that there was not much gravel at this location, but
would bring it up at next Council meeting
9 Linden Overpass Job was looked at regarding grass seed
10 South of 16 and 15 in 30 -25 -4 - two miles regrade and regravel
11 Acme Tomm new well site - on West of 35- 29 -26 -4 - was noted that 13� miles
will have to be graded, and gravelled to this location.
12 The Linke Road - West of 2 and 11 in 30 -26 -4 - approximately 3!k mile needs
improvement
13 Acme South Ea7t Road -- regrade and regravel 3 miles being south of 17, 16 and 15
in 29 -25 -4
14 _T_t was noted that a new deck is required for the bridge on NW 33- 30 -26 -4
15. J. W. Gordon West - through Sections 10, 11 and 12, in 29 -24 -4 Regrade and re-
gravel approximately 3 miles

16 Ted Vanderberg Road - West of 26- and 35 in 29 -24 -4 - regrade and
regravel approximately 2 miles
17 Earl Poffenroth Road - Regrade and regravel four miles from south
of 1, 2 , 3 and 4.. in 30 -24 -4
18. Swalwell West - - regrade and regravel 1� miles south of 16 and 17
in 30 -24 -4.
19. Ellis Reimer Road - West of 30- and 31 in 30 -24 -4 Regrade and regravel
2 miles
20 Harold Howe - Road - South of 3, 4., 6 and 6 in 31 -24 -4
Regrade and regravel 4 miles
21 Twining South Road - south of 1 and 2 in 31 -24 -4 and south of 6 in 31 -23 -4
Regrade and regravel three miles
22 Les Crawford Coulee - North of 20 and 19 in 30 -23 -4 - new grade approximately
'1 mile
23 Gordon Park West - south of 18 in 32 -24 -4 and south of 13 in 32 -25 -4
two miles - regrade and regravel
24 The Torrington Gravel Pit was looked at briefly along with the proposed
new Schmautz Pit
24(a) Maurice Frere North - West of 31 - -32 -24 -4 - rebuild one mile
25 Albrecht Road - West of 7- 33 -25 -4 -- needs new bridge and straightened
re oil company use
26 It was noted that a culvert needs lowered on the road going north one
mile east of Charles Cunningham This was reported by T A Ferguson.
The road tour ended at approximately 5 15 P M
