TRIBUTE TO A. H CHURCH
It is with deep regret that we record the death
of Allan H Church, Councillor for Division
Number 1 continously since June of 1954. During
his 21 years of service he fully earned the respect
of the residents of that area, his fellow councillors
and all employees who had the pleasure of working
with him He was not young in years but no one can deny
that he kept a keen interest in his Municipal work
and he was always progressive As a member of the
road committee, he traveled over most of our
roads, his recommendations were for continued
improvements as fast as finances would permit
He took a fire stand when he felt there was a need
to do so, and by his fairness won our admiration
It would take pages to list all his community work
so let it suffice to say, "Well done, thou good and
faithful servant "
