Mr. R W Brown brought up the matter of some confusion GRADER

Mr. G. King advised Council that some borrowing is
required at this time due to a delay in receipt of
the 50% payment of the Municipal iissistance Grant
which had been promised about i4ay 17th and is still
expected fairly soon, but there had been some
problems in getting the cheques issued at Edmonton,
Circular of May 14th/74 from municipal affairs was
read regarding 14obile Equipment licensing Act and
the enforcement of same and the possibility of
Government doing more enforcing and obtaining a
higher percentage of the fees The present

Crew ar now moving the two ,ridges at Carbon to �
the det ur locations so thatconstruction of the
new bri ges can be started fairly soon.
Hr Eaur moved that the Bridge Branch be asked to drive
sheetin down or extend the miniskirts at the bridges
at Vanovervs/Stickelsi, Manor South, and dust west

new system of work for the main crew has been going
very we 1 and good progress made
i-ir Joh Jeffery gave a report of the highlights of
the icor men Co. mi.tteer_ieeting held this past Friday.
Each Co ncillor is seeing supplied with a copy ,among
the main items was the fact that Brun Sowerby has not
been transferred to the Motor Grader, but is now
classed as a Senior Aac�ri ne man as from I,Lay 1st Hr
John Re nechenko has been classed as Intermediate
Motor G ader man 1 -Ir Church moved that this report
be accepted. Carried
It was greed that the ruin crew should be able to
have soe fobs added to its program and that the
small clew would need to have fewer ,lobs to allow
complet on of the projects. Discussion then followed
regardi g the next projects for the main crew Mr
Paquette suggested they should move to the north and
