Carri d Mr. R W Brown brought up the matter of some confusion GRADER that may arise from charging different rates for the CHARGES various motor graders for private work for ratepayers i4r S hmelke moved that the rates for Motor Graders for private work be at $22.00 per hr. for each machine, but t at regular government rates apply in regard to road grants,etc Carried i./Ir. B uer moved that the offer of Emil Heinrich of $70.00 -IESKETH for 7 lots in Hesketh be tabled and that Mr. Church LOTS inves igate and report to the next meeting Carried r► letter of May 16th from Innisfail General Hospital outlined very briefly future hospital renovations and addition plans, and asked if this Council wished more cetails. 14r. Church moved that a reply be sent stats g that, as only a small area is in this i-iunicipal Distr'ct, there is no need to consult here in regard to tho hospital plans. King advised Council that some borrowing is required at this time due to a delay in receipt of the 50% payment of the Municipal iissistance Grant which had been promised about i4ay 17th and is still expected fairly soon, but there had been some problems in getting the cheques issued at Edmonton, Circular of May 14th/74 from municipal affairs was read regarding 14obile Equipment licensing Act and the enforcement of same and the possibility of Government doing more enforcing and obtaining a higher percentage of the fees The present amount retained is $%. sir. Considerable detail had been obtained The Gov rnment demands that the Supplementary School tax be ictually levied against all farm land, but most land ow ers will be able to claim a rebate of the School oundation tax. Those not eligible are those who reside outside of Alberta and Corporations which are not held by 14ambers of thc, ,%m(- immediate family There ar other details which are somewhat confusing and it apears that the Hutterite colonies will not qualify or the exemption. Each Co ncillor is seeing supplied with a copy ,among the main items was the fact that Brun Sowerby has not been transferred to the Motor Grader, but is now classed as a Senior Aac�ri ne man as from I,Lay 1st Hr John Re nechenko has been classed as Intermediate Motor G ader man 1 -Ir Church moved that this report be accepted. Carried It was greed that the ruin crew should be able to have soe fobs added to its program and that the small clew would need to have fewer ,lobs to allow complet on of the projects.
