King briefly outlined to Council the need for cl an -up of the old store site in SUNNYSLOPE STORE SITE Sunnyslope md the problem in determining whether Mr. Glen Kei.ver or Mr. and Mrs. Ted Chalk clean-up should be r sponsible He advised that Council can take ac ion under the Municipal Government KEIVER -CHALK Act, Sectio 15$(1) by issuing an order and requiring t e Clean-up in 30 days but thought this would not be practical this time of year Discussion ollowed Mr Brown moved that a ti be sent to r Glen Keiver and a copy to Mr and Mrs. TeI Chalk notifying: them that an order will be iss ed for a clean up of lots 9, 10 and 11 block $,S yslope (old store site) if they do not clean i up voluntarily by April 159 1974 Carried. Mr Poole mbved that a letter similar to the one above be sent to Mr. G.W. Marsh in regard to SWALWELL CLEAN -TT - the clean -u' of the propertz at Swalwell which he MARSH ,archased Carried Offer of P 1 Weigum for four properties in Sunny - slope was discussed briefly He had made an offer of $65 00 total but had not split the amount between SUNNYSLOPE LOTS - the various properties and this would be necessary P.WEIGUM OFFER as some are subject to Government approval and others are by tax sale Mr Bauer moved the Secretary -treasurer discuss this with Mr Weigum and prepar by-laws for Council's consideration on Decembe 10 Carried Council wao advised that Mr John Watt had been paid $75.00 per year rental agreement for the WATT STOCKPILE stockpile qi.te up to the end of 1972. OPINIONS 1 Directors should be elected at the time of the fall convention for a 2 year term on an alternating basis and this should be by ballot DIRECTORS This is the only time that actual vacancies occur so election at District meetings is not practical 2 Memberdhip fees should be sufficient to cover the need but this is not known at this time.
