Brown advised that the original resolution from the M.D. of Kneehill will be presented in regard to Day Light Saving Time Mr R TAT Brown and A.W. A proposal is to construct new bridges at both locations with the work to start in the spring and be completed by the latter part of the summer Mr Poole moved that Council accept these proposals Carried Mr Poole advised that Garrett Motors of Carbon contacted him and had complained about the Municipal District buying trucks outside of this area They had suggested that tenders should be called about 6 months i advance to give local agents a good opportunitto compete Discussion followed Mr Poole moved that, in future, this Municipal District call for bids and buy within the 6 towns and villag s from dealers or sub -dealers for all truck vehi les except tandems. Motion lost 2 in favor and against A Christmas Social Evening for Council and all employees as discussed at some length Tr Brown movel that the Municipal District provide a hall, music, turkeys and that there be no a&-.ission fee, that the social be for Council Members, employees and partners, together with all of those others who work out of the M D office and that there be a no -host bar. Motion carried Mr Ferguson moved that the Christmas Social be held at the Three Hills Community Center on Friday, D cember 149 commencing at $000 P.M. and that the Committee in charge be Mr Joe Dobler, Reg Campbell and G.G King with authority to call forhelp Carried Mr Dobler advised there is now approximately 3.,000 cu yds. of crushed gravel at Garson's and about 1300 cu.yds. at the Watt stockpile.
