Mr Ferrari stated that le will be Sales Manager in Calgary as of Jaruary 1 and Mr Jim Murphy will be Salesman for this area as of November to He sugge ted that deliveries are slow on machinery so an orders should be placed early After brief discussion they thanked Council and left the meeting Mr P ole reported that he is trying to arrane with Mr Adam Bertsch to do some testi g with the back hoe on land owned by Mr Otto Bertsch and also by himself The R ad Committee will be advised when the t sting is to be done Mr P quette and Mr Campbell reported that it is possible to bury the junk now at the Huxleir nuisance ground and to make a new trench Mr Paquette estimated it would take 10 machine days to do this The work could be delayed until regular road work is st pj_d by frost Mr. Ferguson moved that Council approve the work as recommended at Huxleir Nuisance Ground Carried It was suggested that further information be obtained from other M D.°s and Counties about the way they handle their nuisance grounds, with particular referencrtynds Foothills which may have 5 nui.san e an open hem 1 day each per week under supervision Mr N rman Soder, Ag Fieldman, and Mr John Jeffery, as Secretary to the Shop Committee, then also met with Council The report of the Slop Committee meeting of October 17, 1973 as gone over in detail This report dealt with recommendations for machinery, trucks, etc The need f -Dr various trucks was first discussed and it was agreed that any trucks which the M.D. wishes to dispose of be so d privately and that all bids be consi eyed without trade-in.
