commended Mr Gibbs for supplying firewood an(__ FOR VOLUNTARY
for doing considerable work at the Swalwell Park WORK
This litter was read to Council Mr Poole
added that Ted Gibbs wants to contribute to his
community by supplying the wood and doing clean-
up at that Park He also burns trash at the ✓

agreed to accept the employment at a salary rate
of $800 00 per month plus 11;.¢ per mile for A CUNNINGHAM CONT
expenses Council was also advised that a grant
of $15,000 00 per year from the province is
intended to be continuing in nature and it is
estimated that it will be sufficient to ..ay the
salary;, mileage, fringe benefits, etc It was
also noted that the go ..:.... ent has agreed to v
send additional help to supervise the Crossroads Gas
Co-op Work and. to co-operate to the fullest extent.
Mr Schmelke moved that this report be accepted
and that Mr. Alex Cunningham be hired to start work
July 16, 1973 as per details above Carried
Mr G King stated that he had gust received CROSSROAD GAS
information from the Energy Resources Conservation CO-OP
Board in regard to the Crossroad Gas Co-op and its
application for a permit for the gas distribution
system A copy of the application is available

Poole and G.G. King reported very briefly regarding
an executive meeting of the Central Alberta
Association of M D Is and Counties held at our A.A.M.D .&C.
office recently It was particularly noted that MEETING

an acc dent on June 28, 1973 when Mr Gerry Buchart, ACCIDENT -
as operator on the TS -18 ran into the back of TS -18 & GRADER
the number 12 motor grader being operated by
Denny Nober Damages to the motor grader radiator,
shutters, etc have been reported to the insurance
company There was no real damage to the TS -18
Mr Campbell moved that this report be accepted

roll bars will be required on all motor graders

Applications for assistance under the winter Capital
Project Fund had been tabled from the previous WINTER CAP PROJ

practical to use the road of Gulf Oil Company
to its well and then easterly and south-easterly

u ing it as when we start hauling over it
2 That the Municipal District improve and

more approach to his field on the north side

agreed to investigate
Council was advised of -roblems regarding truckers
