D. had done some wor onthat hill over she years but it appeared that leg lly it has no responsibility for it Mr Fer- guson mo ed that this report be accepted Carried. BIBLE RE TRAILER v DINNER The Council Meeting adjourned from 1000 P.M. until COURT OF 4 15 P Ni during which time the Court of Revision was v REVISION hcla Th re are separate minutes for the proceedings of the Court of Revision Mr Tcd Paquette met with Council and sortie matters V T PAQUETTE relating to the road program were discussed Mr Bauer stated he had a complaint regarding water DRAINAGE draining from the SAT -27- into the N11-27-32-24-4 - Dick PROBLEM This appeared a private matter not affecting the M D DICK but it was agreedthat it be reported to Water Resources for investigation Eaca person present was given a brief report of the REPORT 1973 Rcai Tour It was agreed that the estimated time 1973 ROAD for each project should be given detailed consideration TOUR by Counc 1 at a special meeting Mr Norman Soder, Ag Fieldman, met with Council AG FIELDMAN He reported that Elton Kober is coming back to work RE HELPERS with the Service Board and he also has Barry Dau and Glen Smyth with him He feels it might be better not to hire any further help until there is a real need Mr Poole moved approval of this report Carried Mr Soder stated he had a report of a stubble fire STUBBLE which a parcntly started in the SW -22-31-22-4 which is FIRE farmed by Stan Plilan The fire spread through a portion of the ^1-22- owned by C Tl Thomas and through part of the NE -22 owned by Joy. Bauer Mr A H Church, Mr R W. Brown and Mr R G Campbell Councillors T A Ferguson and S. C. Schmelke sat in as observers Mr. Roy Kinsey, Assessor was present and gave comments and recommendations Mr C W Poole moved that R. W. Brown act as Chairman of the Court o Revision. Carried Mr. J C Jeffery acted as Secretary of the hearing Mr Or -s Rodger entered the meeting in regard to his appeal concerning Jot 2, Block 4, Plan 6974 JK. Mr. Rodger stated he 10 thought the -e was an error in the assessment as his basement floor is no com lete Mr Roy Kinsey recommended we reduce the assessment rom 4,920 to $4,750 or a reduction of $170 00 because of he basement floor Mr C W. Poole moved that we accept the ssessor's recommendation and reduce the assessment to $4750. Hudso 's Bay Gas & Oil Co. was not represented but a letter was read from the g Lsd 3-8-31-24-4, m �concernin Lsd. 6-31-32-24-4, Lsd 8-5-3'<-24-4. Mr Roy Kinsey recommended we reduce the assess- ment on Ls 6-31-32-24-4 from $0,490 to $40,140. or a reduction of $3,350 as the wrong conversion factor was used when doing the oriin 1 assessment Mr Kinsey stated that the wells on Lsd 3-1-31-24-4 and Lsd 8-5-32-24-4 were not in production as at October 31 and therefore recommended that the assessment of $2,820 be iemoved Mr A. H Church moved to accept the Assessor's recommenda ion that the assessment be removed Carried Nir Brian Parry was present inrespect to NE -19-31-24-4 Mr Parry stat(d the person living on his residence is not paying No C any rent bit is looking after cattle and sheep as compensation for rent Mr Roy Kinsey recommended the assessment be confirmed as the peron involved living on the property is not deriving his liveli ood from the Agriculture industry. Nir Parry then left the m eting Mr. C W Poole moved to confirm the assessment and also m it Mr Parry a copy of the Section of the Act relating to this pa ticular case Carried Marat I ion Realms was not represented at the Court but its letter was read concerning Entice Elevator in which it suggested that the 0.515 elevator acreage should be combined with the station property and assessed in that manner Mr Roy Kinsey recommended that the 1 ase site be included with the station grounds and that the assessent be reduced by $190.00. Mr R G Campbell moved that we ac ept the Assessor's recommendations Carried Pacific Petroleums was not represented at the hearing but a letter was read from that company stating that the 199 barrel tank on the battery of Lsd 14-6-32-24-4 was actually a pollution control d vice. Mr. Roy Kinsey recommended we reduce the assessment from $2,810 to $2,750 for a reduction of $60 00 Mr C W. Bauer moved we confirm the assessment.
