W. Poole T. Aa Ferguson K J Smith Joe Dobler Mr T. A. Ferguson moved 2/72 meeting minutes. Carried John Dorn T C, Paquette Bob Cranston J. C. Jeffery, Sec Page 1 the adoption of the October Tool allowances were discussed at some length with the following persons being recommended to receive the allowances for 1973` Alan Hazel, Harvey Jesske, Bob Cranston, T C Paquette and Joe Dobler. Mr Bob Cranston moved that this cormnittee recommend that the tool allow— ances for 1973 be raised to $100 00 per year, per man. A loading crane for a one—ton truck for loading culverts was discussed Mr T. C Paquette was to try and get prices for the January 22/73 Council Meeting. MINUTES ADOPTED TOOL ALLOWANCES 1973 LOADING CRANE The recently purchased one—ton truck was briefly NEW ONE—TON referred to in which bids were again looked at in respect TRUCK RE to traction tires It was noted that the specifications TIRES did not include traction tires and no other companies had bid an them Mr T. A Ferguson gave a brief report regarding the new Ehop building Mr Ferguson reported he had recently been in contact with Mr John Price and Mr. Price advised him that he could not use any of our laborers to help him as it was not allowed by either the Boar or the unions Mr Price had stated the Board wac, very sticky in this respect and had threatened to inspe t our building at various times The committee further suggested that Mr Poole and Mr Ferguson ask Council which machines they are intending to trade in order for the mechanic to plan his work and to alleviate his work load The stating adequate received brakes a vehicle its load Mr Council trailer pup trai both exi road cre Secretary read a note from Ms G G King hat all M D trailers definitely required lights, including brake lights which he had from the RCMP The note further stated that ,e definitely required unless the towing s at least twicethe weight of the trailer and Joe Dobler moved this committee recommend to ;he purchasing of one approx 30 foot pup -or the gravel crew and one approx 40 foot Ler for the main crew This would eliminate Sting trailers in the gravel crew and the v.
