D. of 4$ in Three Hills on Ned March 1/72, at 7 30 P M Mr T A Ferguson M. D of Kneehill (Chairman) Mr Tom Alexander is kept at the M. D. office. Town of Three Hills Mr. M Steinbach the number of ambulance Town of Trochu Mr. M. Hutton 58 or 59, mileage for Village of Torrington Mr. A. Me li Village of Linden Mr Walt legehr Ambulance Volunteer Mr Bert 3aerg Ambulance Volunteer Mr. G. G. King Acting Secretary Min es of the meeting held Feb 2/72 were read. MINUTES Adoption as moved by Mr. Alexander. Carried One Esso credit card was given to Walt Regehr for ESSO ambulance use, the duplicate is kept at the M. D. office. CARD Mr Regehr reported that the number of ambulance MILEAGE & calls answered to date total 58 or 59, mileage for CALLS these calls total app 7,000 The vehicle had app. 3,500 mi. wehn bought so total is now 10,500 miles on the v hicle The Application for Incorporation and the By -Laws SOCIETY were reviewed briefly - each member had previously had a copy f r study. Mr. Steinbach moved that these be approved as drafted and presented Carried Mr egll moved that Mr. G. King have authority SEAL to order la seal for use of the Ambulance Society Carried. A b .': of report was given by Mr Ferguson and U, ��, .�. c S Mr King regarding the request to the M D of Knee - AMBULANCE hill for a subsidy for Winterps Ambulance at Drum- heller - perhaps to serve the Drumheller Hospital Area. The requ st has thus far been refused Accounts were considered in regard to Sorensen Distributors Ltd - balance shown due $1393 80 Mr. R gehr said we should get credit for new mirrors put on at Three Hills $.00 Net to be paid 1315'0 Accurate Auto Body - Three Hills Body work and mirrors ----------- - - - - -- $353.50 Of thizi, $33 10 has been recovered from insurance. Mr Re ehr explained a second minor accident which damaged the rear of the ambulance - repairs included in this account Mr. Hutton moved that this meeting approve payment of the two accounts as shown above Carried The two mirrors taken off the ambulance likely should be given to Sorensen - Mr G. King is to check re this. The financial report showed capital payments exceeded the $10,000 requisitions by $519.27. NetpTroEtton operation if all accounts collected would be $463.18 Net loss in total $56.09. W. C. BD Discussion followed regarding insurance similar INSURANCE to the p licy for rural firemen Mr Steinbach moved that thiE be investigated by Mr. G. King and a policy obtained to cover loss of life, injury, etc , and perhaps elso personal liability Carried. Mr. Baerg and Mr Regehr suggested we should have RESCUE a Rescue Kit in the ambulance - with wrecking bar, KIT hydrauli jack, etc , est. cost is $250 Acme Chamber of Comme ce may make a donation Mr. Hutton moved that Mr Rege r be authorized to buy a Rescue Kit Carried. Mr. Regehr mentioned that the First Aid Course FIRST AID taken last fall had cost $1,200 which had been paid COURSE out of Fire Dept. funds, W. C. Board had only agreed EXPENSES later to pay $200 for part of the basic First Aid course. Total of 54 took and passed the Course May any of this be paid from ambulance funds? After discussion it was agreed this be tabled until April when the budget is considered Mr Regehr stated that the volunteer crew are VOLUNTEERS very willing to carry on as such, there is no request for individual compensation Only minor problems have ari en due to employment but there are sufficient volunteers that this is not serious in any way. They had stayed ,y at the said races. Mr .Alexander moved that, I, the local group be required to otherwise 'or First Aid, etc and that the ambulance :alled if it is needed, and that no standby be provided. Carried. s agreed that the next meeting of this be held at the Municipal District Office in s on Wed Apr. 5/72 commencing at 7 30 PM. Hutton moved that this meeting adjourn.
