The Council Meeting assumed at the Office at
approximately 2 00 P.M with all of the above pre-
sent e cept Mr Wilf Rosgen and Mr Peter Rosgen
Further discussion then took place with Mr Loos -
more a d the others in regard to the bridge loca-
tion a d related matters NW6- 31 -23 -4 Mr Vincent
of the Bridge Branch stated that the new bridge
locati n over the old channel has much greater
capacity than the previous bridge for water and
ice and there is less danger of flooding at Loos-
morels. He also stated that the present grade -lines
as set forth are best but could be lowered if absol-
utely necessary Mr. Ralph Loosmore made the follow-
ing su gestions and /or requests
1 T at the new bridge be set south a further
3C feet to accommodate turns to the bridge
Ar alternate would be to move the approach

p oposal for a channel division at station
1 90 was considered best but that the new
b idge is now proposed at station 1612-to
accommodate the problems raised by the local
farmers. The middle location was not considered
satisfactory as it would have the same silting
difficulty and erosion problems
Loosmore thanked Council for the interview
and he was told that he would be advised of the
decisi ns made Mr Loosmore then left the meeting.
