Mr C. W. Poole moved adoption of the minutes of
Feb 8/71 with a correction, the word "Secretary" where MINUTES ADOPTED
used therein to read "Assistant Secretary - Treasurer" CORRECTION

moved that delegates from this district be all

Mr. Poole moved that the bulk contract for diesel fuel
by grantedlto Imperial Oil Ltd as per bid above Carried.
Mr. Ferguson reported that Mr Vern Huxley had been SNOWPLOWING
charged $5,00 for private snowplowing work done about UNSATISFACTORY
Christmas time and that the work was not at all satis-
factory 11r Huxley had actually paid the charge but
had voiced complaint to Mr Ferguson, Mr Ferguson
moved that Mr Huxley be refunded the $5 00 charged
subject to further checking by Mr. Ted Paquette Carried
Mr Church moved that Council authorize the stock- STOCKPILING
piling of up to 6,000 cu yds of crushed gravel by our 5E- 4- 30 -23 -4
Municipal employees at the Ivan Berreth location in the
SE-4-30-23--4 and that Mr Poole have authority to make
arrangemen s for the site Carried.
Mr P ole stated that some further work is being SWALWELL DAM
done at th Swalwell dam with the hopes of getting the
control valve in good operating condition
Mr Joe Dobler reported that the hoists on the two TROUBLE WITH
tandem trucks are giving trouble and he recommended HOISTS
contacting Canadian Trailmobile or Southridge Mercury
in Calgary for warranty He also suggested they should
get the front wheels aligned if the trucks are taken to
Calgary Mr. Ferguson moved that Joe Dobler be authorized
to check and take action in regard to the above Carried

about the uilding permit be tabled until the Secretary- CECIL BIBLE

Notice was read in respect to a Unifarm Informational
Seminar on hail research which is to be held at the
Capri Motor Hotel, Red Deer, on Monday, March 8/71
Mr Church moved that all Councillors be named as
delegates o the said seminar and that Unifarm be ,/
advised that approximately six will attend from this
Council, aid, further, that those going meet at the
office at 00 A M , excepting Mr Bauer and Mr Schmelke
who can ,7o n them on the way over Carried.
Proposed amendments of the Provincial Legislature P B I ACT
in regard to the Prairie Bible Institute Act were
referred to briefly Mr Lemay moved that this be filed
as information Carried
