Mr Hart moved adoption of the minutes of the meeting
Of Oct 7;`09 per copy which had been mailed to each member
Carried.
T,u Parkirsported that the Survival Plan has been completed,
and that a Ra iation Moni.toring Course was held
Mr. Par:: and Mr Hart reported on the Course which they
had attended in Edmonton early in December, this was for
Co ottd:inators and they had a good review of the work and aims
The Course wa considered very worthwhile

Mr Park advised that it may be possible to organize a
Recur Course - wh--'.ch ccai d be hel_(' during five successive

discussion favored the dalr courses Mr Brown suggested
th ,at some Municipal Distrie -t employees might be authorized
by Council to take this Course for general benefit without
loss of pay, other preference could be given to Town. and
Village employees but the Course would be open to the public
within the li it as to the number that can be accom-:odated
It was agreed that this be referred to the Fire Comm. meeting
on Jan 27th, that TJx Park endeavor to organize the Course,
and that this e referred to each Council
Mr Park, in reply to an inquiry, stated that First Aid
Courses are av ilable only for Health & Rescue groups, in EMO.
Appointment of Welfare Personnel has not been finalized
Mr; Harry Lloyd of Trochu had considered accepting post as
chief Welfare fficer but, due to work, had been unable to
get away for a Course Search must continue for "heads" for
the various branches of Welfare. Agreed that Mr Park and
Pir Hart head committee for this, with others to give
zuggestions.

Mrs, Jessie Mc .racken - resigned as Dep Co -ord for Carbon
Elmer Davis - esigned as Dep Co -ord for Linden as of Dec 1/70
Wm Eitzen of kcme - his place being taken by Fred Keim

Mr Park requested a list of the volunteer firemen and
major changes In equipment Trochu list is at hand,
Acme agreed to send a list, Carbon same as before,
lists to be obtained for Three Hills and Linden
The Agricultural Plan names the Reeve and Agricultural
Service Board as the EMO Committee, together with the three
Veterinarians of this area, and briefly reviews their duties
in an emergency Mr. Eitzen moved that the said Plan be
adopted Carried
Proposed 971/72 budget was discussed Mr Keim moved
that the budge be the same as for 1970/71 except that the
Dep Co -ord f r Carbon Acme, and Linden be increased to $75
each (formerly $50 ea � Carried
General discussion
Need to stimulate and maintain interest
Should concentrate on one or two main events to
interest the Eep Co- ordinators and others
Encourage all concerned to bring forth ideas at any time
One evening Refresher Course for Radiation Monitoring to be
arranged if p ssible
Mr. Hart moved that this meeting adjourn. Carried.
