Mr R W Brown advised that Mr. Ralph Jespersen, M L A., p B I BILL -
of Stony Plain is presenting the Prairie Bible Institute MR R JESPERSEI
bill By phone, Mr Brown arranged with Mr Ray Ratzlaff,
M L A , to send a copy to this Municipal District
Council then went into a committee of the whole and 1971 WAGES
privately discussed proposed 1971 wages for those hired DISCUSSED
on the annual or monthly basis. Secretary -Tre surer was
not present during that discussion
Mr. G. G. King was called back into the discussion
and review d with Council the following three items
1 Office caretakers - Mr G. King advised Council OFFICE
that further time is required for the caretaking CARETAKERS
to do a real good ,fob Installation of some
carpeting might assist Council agreed that this
matter be tabled and the Secretary - Treasurer bring
in a recommendation to a later meeting
2 Personal salary of Mr G G King as Secretary- G G KINGQS
Treasurer was reviewed and discussed SALARY
3 Salary for Mrs Judy Downe, Stenographer, was
discu sed and Secretary -Trer� recommended that J DOWNE°S
she b considered as a permanent employee SALARY
Mr G King then left the Council chambers and a
private di cussion continued briefly
Mr. G G King, Secretary- Treasurer, was called
back into t.he Council chambers and the official Council
meeting redumed
Mr Al H Church moved that the following salaries

Mr Pole moved that the agreement with the annual GENERAL
employees contain the same general benefits as the con- BENEFITS
tract with the hourly men and that the Municipal office
be authorized to close on all Saturdays, with the hours
of work Monday to Friday to be 8 30 A M - 12 00 noon OFFICE HOURS
and 1 00 P.M - 5 P M from Nov. 1st to April 30th and
the hours 00 A.M - 12 00 noon and 1 00 P.M. - 4 30 P.M
from May 1 t - October 31st Motion carried
