Tour was held on August 5 with about 15 persons Ldin;;. While the turn-out was very poor, those attending sated a worth while effort on our part, General roadside spraying has been completed, using up our 3upply of 2, 4 -D and 2, 4 -5 T herbicides. Spraying incl ded Brush control on newer graded roads and regrowth on some older grades as well as Thistle control, No general pattern has been set up, but work is done on a need basis. Patc es of Toadflax have been treated, as they have been loca ed on M.D. roads. brie are currently seeding roadsides and are nearly caught up. Quite a bit of time was spent at Kiever +s Lake, working up t e beach and levelling some. I believe it would be very feasible to improve the road runnLng north and south east of the 3W of 30-31,25.. south of Peter Tainshts and also improve the beach at Kiever's Lake by hauling sand from the hill and dumping at Kieverts. This could be a late fall or winter project The Kinsmen Club at Three Hills are painting tables, cam kitchen and change house plus other odd gobs at Kieveris. The well at Tolman Park has been recently tested and fourd to be very silty Reports will be forth coming from the Department of Health, and some recommendations for improv- eme t. I was nut with ivJr. A. Standell, Health Inspector of the Drumheller Health Unit, and at this time we conducted a dye and salt test to determine any possible polution from the surface. The pump base (concrete) has deteriorated and sho4ld be replaced. Gordon L.
