Mr Poo!1e moved approval of the minutes of the combined
meeting of C' uncil and A. S. Board held July 28/70, as per ;

The financial statement for the month ending July 31/70 FINANCIAL
was presented and discussed as per copy with the minutes STATEMENT
This showed a net balance at the end of the month of $2,484 47,
with $20,000 owing on loans Mr Ferguson moved approval
of the financial statement Carried
Mr Church mentioned that there is a poor metal cattle MARUZS
gate at the McCracken-Maruzs location near W/SW- 23- 30 -23 -4, TEXAS GATE
this--is used by a school bus Discussion followed
Mr Schmelke moved that Mr Church contact Mr. Maruzs
about improvements to the said cattle gate, with the idea
of this M D supplying material if Mr Maruzs will donate
the work required Carried.

etc as directed by Council, and also subject to necessary
other revisions which may be made by the assessor Carried.

Council in detail, particular attention was given to the
mileage of Dlotor Grader men and accounts for new machinery
and other 1 rge accounts. Mr Bauer moved that these v
accounts be approved, as per list with the minutes.

Council was advised by the Sec. -Treas that Mr Gus GUS GIECK
Gieck is now on holidays but has given verbal notice that
he intends to retire at the end of August of this year

of $100 00 be approved and that the Sec -Treas report

advised that remedial action will be taken re seismic holes

as discussed by Council at the previous meeting

for two large culverts. Mr, Baue moved that the report
be accepted and that the M D arrange for some pit run
gravel as a temporary help on the road if those needing

Council was advised that Reg Campbell had inquired

H Thompson of Carbon - he is experienced and able to
