J Mr. D. Dau representative of the Three Hills School Division way+ present throughout the meeting. Mr. G G King, Sec -areas was present and recorded the minutes G. PERK 4r Gordon Park, l:gricultural Fieldman met with council and advised that Mr. Lorne Boese had contacted him on Nov. L. BOESE 17 and had equested a further two weeks leave of absence to complete the course which he is taking in Calgary, Mr v Gordon Park had granted this subject to councilts approval. The mi utes of the combined meeting of Council and AgriculturaL Service Board of Sept. 29, 1969 were referred to in resp ct to reference to Mr Lorne Boese and related items. Mr. G King advised Council that there was an error in th se minutes and Council should now give clatifi- cation Tha minutes referred to payment for one -half of three weeks pay and one -half of tuition but the total amount stat d $1$2.$0 does not agree with that total T4r. Peters movel that the said minutes be corrected by stating that Tor Lorne Boese will receive a total compensation of $242 501 this being $62 50 as one -half of his tuition plus $180.00 for one -half of three weeks pay and that Mr Lorne Boese be given no extra compensation for the last two weeks leave of absence as referred to above. Gordon Park stated there is a Canadian `Need Con- CAN WEED ference, in Edmonton Dec 2 to 4th and some of the Executive CONFERENCE of the Provincial Agricultural Service Board Association may be invited to attend. He would personally like to attend if Council so authorizes as he is now Sec.- Treas. of that Association Discussion followed. Mr. Peters moved that Mr Gordon Park be authorized to attend the Canadian Weed Conference referred to above with expenses to be paid by this Municipal District. Carried For Gordon Park reported briefly on the Conference k. Gordon Taylor and Others included. 1 Mo rin Road from #21 east to #9 -- the delegation had strongly urged that this be taken into the high- way network for 1970 and that at least 4 riles of it be reconstructed As a concession they had expressed Counci Qs willingness to take over all of Highway #26 subject to- A. From #21 to Carbon to be paveC� by the government as an access road B Beiseker i_cme Portion to be paved by the govern- ment as an access road C All other portions to be taken over in the present condition. The go ernment officials had stated this was a very fair o fer and would receive serious consideration. 2 Po ,e Lease - river Hill. Road Sec 27- 29 -21 -4 -- It app ared that this ;project could be proceeded with in 197 .Further consideration and discussion will be nee ed as to how the costs will be snared and how the wo k will be done. 3.
