Ferguson Div 5 Mr, S.0 , Schmelke Div 6 Mr G Lemay Div 7 Mr Donald Dau, representative of the Three Hills School Division, was present throughout the meeting Mr H J Hanson, Assistant Sec -Treas was present and recorded the ninutes Mr Pete s moved that the minutes of the meeting of Jan. APPROVAL 13th, 14th, 2 th and 27th, 1969, be approved as per copy OF which had beeo mailed to each Councillor. Carried. MINUTES The Monthly Financial Statement for the month ending Jan 31st, 196), was presented and discussed This showed a net balance of $34,078.58 with no loans outstanding Mr Ferguson moved adoption of the monthly financial statement as per copy with these minutes Carried Mr Poole reported that he had discussed with Mr. Allen Koch the complaints received by Council regarding his use of the Municipal truck for private use and other items pertaining to his work at Carbon. He had arranged for Mr Koch to meet with Council regarding this at 1.00 this afternoon. Ltd. was read to douncil which advised that they were unable to quote on the tender for a Motor Grader, as they had no such equip- ment for sale Mr Ferguson moved that this be placed on file Carrie WILKINSON M ACLEr,N A request for app ---oval of Council regarding the install- MOBIL aticn of a 4211 gas line in Sec 3,4,and 9- 29 -20 -4, by Mobil OIL - Oil of Canada Ltd. was read to Council. It was noted that 9- 29 -20 -4 there is one -oad crossing between Sec 3 and 4, but as this gas line i4oad is not d veloped, their request to bury the pipe with a five foot cover should be in order Mr. Church moved that Council give their approval as noted above Carried Mobil Oil of Canada Ltd request for permission to MOBIL OIL place a pipel ne across the road allowance between the PIPELINE N4 -23- and t'e SE4 of 26- 33 -26 -4 was referred to Council. 33 - 26 It was noted that the proposed crossing will be bored under the road allowance with the carrier pipe cased and vented When installa ion is done, the normal flow of traffic will not be distur ed. Mr Schmelke moved that approval for this - read crossing be granted Carried A letter from Canada West Agencies (1964) Ltd was read CANAD2 to Council This advised that Mr Henry Dick kad been driving WEST east on the road which is one mile west and 12 miles south of AGENCIES Linden At this x _qard point, the road runs parallel and Oust _ south of the Eone Pine Creek, and that there was no warning A,. t_Ljjx ,.e l of the sharp right hand curve to the south at the top of the H DICK hill and Mr. Dick was unable to avoid crashing into the ditch. It further stated that, in their opinion, the Municipality is responsible and that full re- imbursement of the cost of Mr Dick's damages should be paid by this District Mr. Schm lke move: that a copy of this letter be referred to our Insura ce Company. Carried Mr. Paquette stated that he had noticed in the Calgary PRESS papers an advertisement of a press for sale. He would in- vestigate further and if suitable, would obtain prices.
