M Schmelke moved approval of the minutes of the
meetin of Aug 21/67, as per copy which had been mailed
to eac member Carried
Some discvssio took place in respect to the following
1 Is the present ighway setback for intensive use such
as hog or cattle feeding 2640 ft or 2000 ft.? Pair Skorupa
and Mr Poole agreed to get this information for our next
meeting
2 Did Bergmann-Gall obtain the required permits for their
cattle feeding operation in Pt NW- 18- 29 -25 -4? This is to
be investigated
'Letter of Aug 8/68 from Mr A Morrison, Dep. Minister,
Dept, f Mun Affair , %ras read to the meeting re the
financial arrangements required for non - member Municipalities
of the C R. P C ; added s;rere 1 city, 2 towns, 13 villages,
1 court y, 1 M D , aid 1 improvement district. Some
experts s would be pr)-rata and others at cost Some
discus ion followed egarding this with reference to extra
staff that will be r qu:zlred, etc

Mr Ba g moved that the minutes referred to above be filed

;I King, as Secretary, advised the meeting that he
had approved buildi permits as listed briefly in Item 4
of the Agenda of th meeting. Some further details of
the a'pp icataons were read. Mr Anderson moved that these
be approved Carried

'.Proposed subdivi''ion by Mr Don Casselman for Pt of
S2 Lot 7 Block 4 Three Hills Sub Plan 4617 F N was
further discussed - t is had also been discussed at the
Commission meeting of Aug 21/68. Mr Skorupa advised
that he has discussed this with 1'4r A R Smith, Director,
and Mr'. M Fenerty of the C R P C.,, they appeared
agreed hat Mr Casse man would be permitted to subdivide
if he'p ovides a 10 f alley or lane allowance along the
west si e of his prop,rty, two lots could then be created
with tha westerly one 67 ft in width and the easterly
one 55 Ft in width as requested by Mr Casselman

affects the north Pt of the said Lot 7 Blk 4 may

u moved that the report of Mr. Skorupa be accepted
at the Comm. grant Mr Casselman approval of a
ision as outlined if he desires to so apply. Carried.
Mr Poole advised that a IMr. Bill Timmings of Acme
wisheE to buy an old bunk car from the M D of Kneehill
and'tc locate same on the Svend Nielsen property just north
of Acne 14r Poole was advised that, if this is a mobile
bunk car, this Municipal District and /or Commission has
no special requirements or control as of this date.
Information from C R P C showed that approval
had been granted, subject to certain provisions, for
subdivision of NE- 11- 30 --25 -4 (Barkman) and Ski- 19- 30 -24 -4
(Rei�e ) application of Mr Braconnier to subdivide
S'd -29- 1 -23 -4 had been refused but he had been advised of
his Sri ht of appeal, letters of C. R P C and of the
Planpi g Branch of Dept of Highways were read - it seemed
that;t e Dept of Highways was misinformed in regard to
access being used Mr. Schmelke :roved that this information
be fil d Carried.
.:M ssrs Albert & Jonathan Ehman met the Commission in
regard to a building permit for a residence on Lot 8 in
Block I Three Hills Sub 4717 F N (Ruarkville) This
is a'o e acre lot and they wished to located a new dwelling
so as to conform with later plans for possible subdivision
of the lot, they were advised that road and lane develop-
ment s ould be provided for sirr.ilar to that now shown
on Pla 4170 J K further north. It was noted that they
wished to set back their new dwelling a distance of 56 ft.
from`t e street on the south side of the said Lot 8 -
reasons given by them were to be back from the dust and noise
and to allow a large front lawn; they were advised that
th.isV'b g set back might not be required of others who may
later buil in that area. Discussion followed and they
stated that pYeferred their flan as submitted
Mr..Ipa4 moved approval of the building permit as per the
detail submitted Carried
Application of Jack Buchart was read re his request to
locate a private garage 244 x 284 at the rear of Lot 9
Block 9 Wimborne It was noted that this lot is only 30 ft
wide and he wishes to locate his garage with the door to
the south, maximum setback from the north and /or south
would be 2 ft ; access would be through property of B A.
Oil Co. for which he is now agent There is a 20 ft alley
both�n rth and east of his lot but it is not practical to
use either of these for a large truck and they plug 'badly
with snow in the winter. Discussion followed
Mr 4clmelke moved that approval be granted, subject to-

2. Set back from east boundary shall be 5 ft or more

letter of Sept 15/68 from John Grassmick asked

Proposed subdivision in Stir- 29- 27 -20 -4 was referred to
the meeting, this would create a parcel of 1 457 acres as
location for a dwelling for Alta. Wheat Pool. It was
notod that this might affect access to property of a Community
Hall just to the north. Mr Anderson moved approval of
the su division subject to Alberta Wheat Pool agreeing to
provide, at its expense, reasonable access to the property
of the Community Hall if and when required Carried.
Discussion took place regarding people who are erecting
permanent buildings in this iiuni.cipal District xk without
maki ng application for a permit. Mr Baerg moved that
circulars be prepared and mailed out as follows*
1 if the person has completed the building and there is
no objection re location, etc. - advise him of the need for
permits in the future
2. if the bualdang is under construction - advise him to
apply for a permit immediately and to delay further
construction until same has been dealt with.
