the work at Andrew's pit is not arranged for This would

the 20th of August when the bull: crusher will be available.

this being a by -law to authorize the purchase from Harold

for the price of $9 04 and with this District to pay trans-
fer costs, Carried unanimously

Mr Tom Ferguson and Mr. G G. King, reported in
regard to the fencing of the Sarcee -Butte Cemetery Mr
Ferguson advised that about 36 men had volunteered their
services and a new fence had been put up very recently

Mr Fer son reported that Albert Johnson's truck had
received some damage while the work at the Sarcee -Butte
Cemetery was being done and he estimated the repairs might
be $20 00 He, is to get more details regarding this matter

The comilittee of Ralph Brown, Cliff Poole and G King
advised furt er in respect to matters pertaining to pro-
posed agreem nt in respect to the Vernon Hanson dam in the
SE-24-29-25-t. The committee had seen Mr Coady, Solicitor
at Calgary, ind a tentative agreement had been finally
dtafted. Mr Poole and Mr G King had given Mr. Hanson a
copy of that agreement and had gone over it briefly with
him Mr Han on had since advised Mr Poole that he would
not accept tie agreement because of certain terms contained
therein and ie had stated that he plans to go on by himself.

Council was given a verbal report of the Municipal
Planning Commission meeting held in our Office on July
24th. These'were reviewed and discussion followed with
particular eference to the fact that the Calgary Regional
Planning Co ission is now the approving body for all
hub- divisio work for all towns and villages, counties
Municipal D stricts, etc within its area, even though
many of the Municipalities are not actually members The
C.R.P.C. is also to draft their preliminary regional plan
Oo provision has been made in legislation in respect to
the financing or the supplying of additional help Mr.
Poole moved that a letter be written to the Department
of Municipa Affairs regarding the additional work for
the Calga Regional Planning Commission without any
apparent provision for the financing of this matter and
that a copy of this letter be sent to each of the rural
members of ihe Calgary Regional Planning Commission.

Council was advised that Mr Gus Honecker has made
application for a permit to build a granary in the Three
Hills Sub-division known locally as Ruar kville This
bpplication had been received just after the close of
the Municipal Planning Commission meeting so could not
be referred to it. Mr Ferguson moved that Council recom-
mend refusa for the bdilding application for the granary

School Divi ion by public auction on August 10th and there
is no reser . There is some concern about the possible
uses that m y be made of this property but no definite

extend good wishes to the students of the Three Hills
School bivi ion who were selected for the Young Voyageur
trip to Eastern Canada. The Council meeting resumed at the
