The Sec -Treas advised Council that Shell Canada -- Ltd has inquired about a long term lease on ou-r old Muni.ci- OLD pal Shop site on railway avenue in Three Hills - they will SHOP likely send a letter re. this. The Shop Committee is still SITE to arrange to have the metal shed moved. A letter of April 18th from Dr H. McEwen varified that Allan Koch should be admitted to the Calgary General Hospital. Council was advised that Mr Koch went into the hospital on April 28th. Mr. Campbell moved that this be recorded in the minutes and filed. Carried. Requisition from the Department of Education for the school Foundation Program Fund was referred to Council- The requisition was based on 28 mills on equalized assess- ment of $19,831,384. and amounts to $555,278 Payments are due May lst, Aug lst and Nov. lst. Mr. Church moved that this be accepted Carried The Sec - Treas. advised Council that Mr Dave Waldner and Mr Joe Stahl had verbally asked that Council consent to transfer of lands no-,,r in their own names to the Huxley Hutterian Brethren. Mr. Poole moved that a letter be written to Mr Breach, Chairman of the Communal Property Board, for information Carried Some discussion followed regarding oiling roads and additional equipment that might be needed including a storage tank for the oil, a tank and spreader bar to -- put the oil on the road, a special box for equal distri- btition of the gravel, tar pots, etc. More information is to be obtained Council stated that they are not interested in the use of paczyme A circular from Pounder Emulsions (Alta.) Ltd. gave information regarding Seminars to be held Mr Poole moved that this be filed Carried. The Sec - Treas. advised Council that it will likely be invited to a budget meeting with the Three Hills School Division on Wednesday, May 15th but this is not definite.
