start grading work south of Henry Cirankewich through

Friday in respect to the youth travel program Twenty -
four from this area will be going to Bedford, Nova
Scotia and twenty-four will be coming to this area from
Montreal A committee has been set up to make all arrange-
ments connected with this and in this committee Mr Donald
Dau,is Chairman and Mr. Tom Ferguson is Treasurer. He also
mentioned other members of the committee These were not
listed. Various organizations are being asked for finan-
cial assista ce and a request may be made to this Munici-
Pa? District for some assistance at a later time when

the purpose of providing fire protection for the said Area # 3
and the purchases shall be approved by the office of the
Provincial Fire Commissioner, the total cost is not to
exceed $33,000 00.
3 The capital costs shall be recovered by a special mill
rate levy in the said Area # 3 The special rate will be
2 mills ii 1968) 2 mills in 1969, and the required additional
amount no to exceed 2 mills in 1970
4. One Of these new units is to be housed in the Village of
Carbon and the other in the Village of Linden A one time
payment of $500.00 shall be made to each of the said Villages
to help p y the cost of providing storage facilities, no
other charge shall be paid for storage.
5. Agreements areto be made with the Villages of Carbon and
Linden fou the joint use and operation of the fire units and
for such other matters as are deemed necessary
6 Upon he final passing of this By -Law the Area boundaries
may be ad usted between it and adjoining rural fire protection
areas now in effect
7 This -Law shall not come into effect unless it first
is submitted to a vote of the proprietary electors of the said
Area # 3 and is approved by a majority.of those voting thereon
