I.pplicati ns for work were read as received from Walter Coates, Fred Walsh, Kenneth Bauer, Barry Rempfer, Orville Hart and John Houtman These were tabled until later in the meeting. Mr Dunc Peters advised that Cliff Bristow Motors can supply two gravel trucks with slight variance from the ori- ginal specifications - one of these is now at Red Deer and one at icme Factory delivery would cause a long delay due to strikes It was agreed that Mr Bristow bring details to this meeting. FOREMEN APPL. FOR WORK. TRUCKS Mr. Fred Metz, Councillor of the County of Mountain View, met briefly with our Council and stated that he is F.METZ a delegate to he meeting of the Hudson Bay Route Assoc re Huds•�n Bay in Regina on April 7/68. He was advised that no delegate Route is going from this District so he agreed to give a report here if requested and The proposal regarding nursing homes was also dis- cussed with Mr Metz as he is also a member of the iiux. Nursing Hospital Board He could not give any definite information H�meS about the finalneing for the buildings, equipment, etc Mr Metz was thankled and he then left the meeting Mr. Cliff Bristow of Bristow Motors Ltd , Three Hills then met with Council regarding trucks which had been or- dered from his firm. He stated that due to the strike at G M Ltd our orders have been delayed.but he advised that he was able to obtain two trucks similar to those ordered by us with minor changes in options such as springs, air cleaner, horns, etc.,but these units did not include foam seats or transistorized ignitions and would have to be ,r.ainted red as one of the units is blue and the other green. The above options on these two trucks amounted to a 1.r;.ce credit of $107.07 and it would cost $110 00 to have them painted.
