(This was a continu- ation of the ineeting adjourned from March 111 1968) All Councillors were again in ^ttendance Ar. Ivir Peters moved th::,t the Village of LINDEN Linden be advised that any fire fighting equipment referred FIRE E2UIP to above which may be bought by it and which is both needed and useful for a rural fire truck, will be taken over by the Municipal District at full value if the rural fire truck is actually ordered this year Carried !,fr. S B Meeting of Feb 27, 1968 were referred to this Combined 14eet.ing and the 1968 estimates for the A S B were reviewer in detail Mr Poole moved that MINUTES this meeting adopt the said minutes of Feb. 27, 1968 and the t. S B budget s included with those minutes. Carried Mr. Gordoi Park read his report as Ag Fieldman, as per copy with thes minutes. T-r. Peters moved adoption of this REPORT report Carrie Mr. Stan lettem warned of the possibility of grain mites and suggested hat bins should be checked. I have be En kept busy at the office most of the time with office work and assisting farmers in interpretation ^f their soil reports, etc I have inspected the Three Hills Seed Plant and issued a 1st Class Permit Albert KlAssents Seed Plant at Linden and also issued a first class permit (The rati was just into lst class) If his machinery is not overhauled this summ r he may not qualify next year. Other plants are still to be rated. I assiste& with the organization of the Farmers Union and Co- operative Development Seminar at Three Hills and also attended the Provincial Conference in Edmonton with Rev H J Miller, as official delegates from the Three Hills group Mr. Stan Gibson also attended as a visitor Mr. Gilbert B rdahl and Mr. Craig Edwards attended as official delegates from the Drumh ller group.
