Councillors were again present for this meeting. Mr. G.G. King, Secretary- Treasurer, was present and recorded the minutes Mr. D C. Dau, representative of the Three Hills School Division, was present for most of the meeting. The Sec - Treas. gave Council a verbal report in regard to the proposed Group Insurance Plan through the A.A.M.D. GROUP with Sun Life Assurance with particular reference to the INS. following. PLAN 1 Many municipalities have not made any decisiesn about jo ning the Plan so the Group Plan through the Associat on will not go into effect for some period of time. 2 un Life has advised by telephone that it will put the Plan into effect for this Municipal District without Hospital benefits at the same rates as quoted through the Association. 3. ; ' 'he Hospital benefits cannot be included due to changes n Provincial regulation. 4 he Secretary - Treasurer strongly urged Council to put the lan in effect on condition that the rates be as previously quoted and that there be no obligation to con- tinue if the rates increased, but that the Policy can be transfer ed to the Association Plan if it becomes effective. This was discussed at considerable length Mr. Peters moved that Council accept the report of the Sec.-Treas. in regard to Group Life Insurance,etc through LEun Life Assurance and agree to the private Plan with Sun Life Assurance to December 13/67 nn condition that there be no obligation to continue if the rates increase. Carried Mr. Dale Gimbel, employee, met briefly with Council DALE and stated that he wished to resign as he wants to try GIMBEL other work = He further stated that he had no special complaints and that he was quite willing to give two weeks notice. Mr. chmelke moved that the resignation of Dale Gimbel b accepted effective as of noon, August 5th/67 Carried. Mr. ordon Park, Agricultural Fieldman, met with GORDON Council and a number of items were dealt with as follows PARK while he was present REPORT 1.
