of March 6 h, 10th, 13th and 20th, 1967, as per copy mailed
to each Councillor Carried
Mr Loosmore moved that Council approve of the minutes of
the Annual Meeting of March 6th, 1967 as per copy mailed to
each Councillor and that these be filed for final approval
by the next, Annual meeting. Carried.

Mr Dennis Roy Enns then met with Council in respect to FARM PCHSE
his application to purchase from Carl Isaac the West 63 44 D R ENNS
acres of the NW- 33- 30 -25 -4 and the Application, Vendor's
Offer to S 11, and other pertinent documents were read to
Council Rr George Park as Appraiser, stated that, in his
opinion, a fair value of the property with the buildings,
power,etc would be $ 19,350 00 The proposed purchase
price is $20,000
Mr Enns left the meeting while Council discussed this
privately Mr. Brown moved that Council approve of this
application and that it be referred to the Rrovincial
Farm Purchase Board for final decision. Carried
Mr Enns was advised of this decision and he thanked
Council and he and Mr George Park then left the meeting
Mr Gordon Park, Agricultural Fieldman, and Mr H J A S BD
Hanson, as Secretary to the Agricultural Service Board,
then met with Council
Mr. Dan Peters, District Agriculturist, was also present
for a portion of the discussion of the business pertaining �
to the Service Board.
The minutes of the Agricultural Service Board meeting of
April 3rd/67 were read to Council as per copy included with
these minutes.

applications for work and had made some definite arrangements
but other details were still pending Mr. Randy Gieck of ROADMEN
Carbon, has been hired and is working as a truck driver Mr
John Campbell and Archie Walker have been re -hired to work
with the north crew. Mr Larry Gorr of Acme has been con-
sidered as new employee Mr Rin Matus would be a good
man for servicing machines and doing mechanical work Mr
Richard Kober is being considered but would only be available
until about September lst New applications were read as
per the list with the agenda and these were referred to Mr
Paquette fe agreed to bring in a more definite report by
the next me ting
Mr Mols erry and Mr A (Tony) Malkewich of Molsberry ROADSIDE
Chemical Spray Co met with Council regarding spraying a strip SPRAYING
on the road ides to kill the grass They showed a short
movie of th it procedure and gave a talk as to the advantages
They use thE chemical Tordon and by putting on two applications
can give a four year guarantee Their price, material spread,
etc is $200 00 per mile for both sides of the road for the
4 year period, and they would expect payment of 50% at the
end of the lst year, 25% at the end of the 2nd, and the last
25% at the end of the 3rd year A minimum contract would
be approximately 10 miles They left one book of pictures
and asked that this be returned to them in a week or so
They thanked Council and then left the meeting
Mr Lou M ffret of Coneco Equipment met with Council in
regard to a used 1959 Michigan #180 tractor dozer, including CONECO
cab,etc Th s machine would have a 30 working day 100% EQUIP
warranty and would have 4 new retread rubber tires, plus 2
packer wheels. Price with power shift is $27,500 complete
He stated it was unlikely they could give any trade -in
allowance fo the CW scraper Mr. Maffret then left the
meeting
Mr Jim Gibbs of Manco Industrial Supplies Ltd. then met MANCO
with Council and stated that he and a Mr Manning have IND SUPP
taken over m ny lines formerly handled by Waterous Equipment,
Pacal blades with 6t centre section and 51 section on other
side of it for a total of 161 - $63.00 per set with 81 centre f
section and f either side a total of 181 - price $67 00 per
set. He stated that service is about 3 to 1 over standard blades
