He stated also that the avel at the present location lnthis pit was d estimated that no stripping would be necessary two years. Laidlaw, Assessment Commissioner, together re with the co )y of the Ministerial Order granting permission assess on to re-asses3 the Wimborne Gas Plant in SW- 12- 34 -26 -4 for V gas plant taxation pu poses for 1967, was referred to Council. Mr. Pe ers moved that this be accepted and filed. A map 'ndicating the locations of the buried rural distributio of A.G.T. lines in the Carbon area, together buried with a let er from A.G.T. asking permission to attend a cable Council or 3pecial meeting of interested parties whereby Carbon they could give a complete outline of the buried cable area program, was presented to Council Also Mr. Hanson stated that he had a telephone call from a Mr Attwood regarding this and they wished to also show a film which takes 17 minutes to run and their whole presentation would be about 12 hr Mr. Peters moved that the above proposed meeting be & held the evening of February 27th in the Municipal office meeting at 8 00 P N and that all municipal employees be invited to attend Motion carried. Mr Brown stated that, in his conversation with the Ho Mr. Patrick, he gathered that the Prov- incial Gove nment were- willing to continue with their Research Pr gram but could not put any money towards such a prog am. Mr Lo smore moved that Council recommend that Mir Dan Peters contact the Penhold Research Centre to gather information, study and report to Council. A letter advising that the A.A.M D. general meeting A A M D is to be held on March 31st, 1967 in the MacDonald Hotel meeting Edmonton cormencing at 9 00 A M was read to Council. Lunch 12 - 1P.M Mr Ralph Brown was absent during the afternoon to R Brown attend a funeral and Mr Duncan Peters, as Deputy Reeve V. absent 2 ^ted as Chairman. A letter from the Canadian National Railways asked C N R if Council had any objection or restriction on the use barbed of barbed wire in future construction or re- construction wire or in reinforcement of existing woven wire right -of -way fences. V Mr Church moved that Canadian National Railways be advised that Counc'_1 has no objection to the use of barbed wire on right -of -way fences. Carried. A letter received by the Reeve, Mr R W Brown, from no the Department of Municipal Affairs was read to Council inspectors This stated that due to circumstances beyond their control report an inspection of this Districts records could not be made 66 in the year 1966 and thus no inspection report would be available for presentation to the electors at the annual meeting, they suggested that this letter be read to the meeting instead Mr Campbell moved that this letter be placed on file and read at the Annual Meeting as suggested. Fire Department and bring back their recommendation to Council arried. District Chamber of Commerce Motion carried 3 Hills Regarding the Mountain View - Kneehill Auxiliary Hospital r quest for a list of anyone who may require Nursing Nursing Hone facilities in the next year or two, Mr Home Loosmore r ported that their Board had now appointed a facilities committee to look into Nursing Home facilities and that he, as a me aer of this committe would keep Council in- formed as to their action and progress Mr Church reported that he had discussed the account of Mr. Gordon McCracken with him and he had G McCracken stated that he was not happy with some work done for him at a diffe ent location as the approach built for him was ✓ too steep for any vehicle to use Mr Church stated that he planned to have this improved in the Spring and Mr McCracken agreed to pay this account.
