Mr. Den Dau, of the Three Hills School Div., was
present throughout most of this meeting
Mr G G King, Sec -Treas , was present and recorded
the minutes
Mr D Hazelton, of Linden Contractors, met with the LINDEN
Council re gravel crushing and other matters. They have CONT.
now done a total of app 18,000 cu yds with the breaker,
of which app 8,000 is still to be put through the
regular crusher This leaves app. 10,000 cu. yds. more
for the Ireaker. The supply is excellent, they will
test gra el depth later Have had delays due to break-
downs W11 likely submit a bid for the D -8
After discussion, Mr. Hazelton left the meeting.
Mr Gordon Park, Agricultural Fieldman, came in to the G PARK
meeting and discussed his 1967 salary, Mr. Peters moved AG. FIELD.
that Mr. Gordon Park's 1967 salary as Ag Fieldman be MAN
set at $6,100 , this being an increase of $500 over the
1966 salary Carried Mr. Park accepted with thanks.

3. Youth Seminar at Banff Jan 21st and 22nd

The letter from Alta Power Comm. with map of the DONALDSON
Donaldson Rural Electrification District was shown to R.E.A.U.
Council Mr Campbell moved that Council approve of
the area as outlined Carried.
Route of proposed heavy power line of Canadian
Utilities was discussed, as per its map From the
SW corner of 1$- 32 -23 -4 north to NW corner of 7- 34 -23 -4,
thence east 1 mile to Highway # 21, thence north along
the High ay to and beyond the limits of this District.
Mr Peters moved that Council approve of the location
within this District subject to a provision that no
power pole be placed closer than 2 rods from the corner
of any east-west road intersections Carried.

Mr Ddn Dau was absent from 1 PM to 2 25 PM
Mr Harold Howe and M R. Boake met Council as
representatives of the Kneehill Weather Modification
Association Ltd They asked, in brief, that Council
proceed Aith a By -Law to provi e Weather Modification
in 1967 in Divisions 1, 2, 3, and 5, that the
Agreement for the said Servic be with their Assoc ,
that the Contract or Agreement provide for payment of
an amount equal to 13¢ per acre for the included area,
plus the costs of the vote, etc., and that their
Association would be entirely free to sub - contract
They stated that, if she vote did not carry the whole
matter w uld be dropped for 1967 - they would not
endeavor to get voluntary contributions for a project -
and no M nicipal costs of vote, etc would be repaid.

documents were read in detail. Mr Park gave information

moved that Council approve of the application of

Mr. & Mrs. Loewen were advised of this decision,

be self- iquidating including allowance for operating
expenses Mr Peters moved that this information be

Mr Peters reported that he had contacted a few GAS
people i terested in natural gas for Grantville and /or SERVICE
surround ng areas - those contacted favored a franchise
with Plains Western Gas instead of forming a Co -op ,
but he shes to get further details Mr Loosmore
