A circular of Nov 18th from the Department of Public
Welfare gave authority for the usual Christmas bonus with
the Department paying 80% of the cost. The bonus is $5.00
for each adult in the family and $2 50 for each child in
the family on regular welfare. Council approved granting
this bents if applicable.

Mr Peters reported that the Shop Committee has been
endeavoring to get some bids fir moving the metal building ,
from our present shop yard to across the tracks but has

proceeded further except that no work was available. Mr.

Mr. Church moved that Mr. Rowbottom be paid at the 1966
rates for land and fence north of the NE- 19- 29 -21 -4 and
that he be paid $20 00 crop damage for approximately 80
rods of cr p which was affected by grading work this year.

Mr Pe ers moved that Mr Ralph Loosmore be paid $28 00
for fencin adjacent to the government culvert in northeast
corner of he 5E- 12- 31 -24 -4. Carried.
Mr Ca pbell reported that Mr Alf. Meehan and Pete and
Mike Frere should be given some payments for moving their
fences at the Trochu southeast job as he had asked them to
remove the fences late in 1965 and they had done so Mr
Schmelke m ved that a committee of Mr. Campbell and G.G.
King get a reement- in these regards, and also with Fred
Weisenburg r for moving fence at the Huxley east road
