Monday, October 24th with all Councillor again
Mr D.C. Dau, representative of the Three Hills School
Division, was present throughout most of this meeting
Mr. G.G Kin; Secretary - Treasurer, was present through-
out the meeting and recorded the minutes.
Mr Joe Dobler, gravel foreman, met with Council He
advised that the crusher is broken down and not working today
so they are hauling from the Stockpile near the Tolman bridge
and loading with the loader belonging to Linden Contractors.
The Municip 1 loader is at Dunphy. He advised that gravel
hauled on r ads in Div. 7 this year now totals 11,496 cu yds
It was also noted that the new mile of grading north of
Paul Strosc ein's W- 36- 33 -23 -4 is now ready for gravelling
and that th re will be slightly over two miles of new work
southeast o Huxley to be done later. Mr Campbell ad-
vised that e also has some further patchwork.
Mr. Loo more moved that Council approve of the gravelling
done to dato in Div 7 plus 3 1/8 miles for the new grading
which is being done, and for further patches to a total ,
up to 13,00 cu.yds., and that the allotments for Div 1 and
5 be each ilicreased to 13,000 cu.yds. Carried

It is apparent that the new proposed Tunicipal Administration
Act contains some major changes - this does not mean that all of
the changes are either good or bad But it does add to the
importance Df the coming Fall Convention. Perhaps our Council
should find time to discuss these prior to the Convention and
also to giva further thought to the need for a new office in
Ednonton, etc
