The meeting reconvened at 1 00 P M with all

Mr. George W. Hope and Robert J Hope met with
Council aid the application of Mr George W Hope to
purchase bhe SW- 18- 30 -26 -4 through the Alberta Farm
Purchase Board from his brother Robert 4 Hope was
discussed. The price quoted was $14,OO6 of which
20% would be a down payment. The application, the
Vendor's offer to Sell, the Statement of Affairs,
and other related documents were read to Council. Mr.
Campbell moved that Council approve of this proposed
Farm Deal Carried
Mr George Hope and Mr Robert Hope were advised
of this decision and they then left.
Mr Joe Dobler, and Alan Koch, foremen, then met
with Council
Mr. Dobler advised that Linden Contractors had
complete the required 3/4" crushing at the Municipal
Pit Mr. Peters moved that Linden Contractors be
authoriz d to continue with 3/411 crushing for the
rest of this week and further if to do an
additional 1200 cu.yds. total Carried

Mr Dobl r advised that they are now hauling gravel to J DOBLER

Mr. Ted Paquette, foreman, also met with Council CULVERT RE
at this time Mr Campbell asked that Ted Paquette put TROCHU
321 of 121 culvert for drainage on the road to the Trochu N.GROUND
Nuisance round.
A circular from Attridge & Miller was read in regard
to its services with custom rebuilt engines This was
ordered filed.
The Secretary - Treasurer briefly reviewed with �, PRICES RE

rates It was agreed that a list of these be made
available for each Councillor and foreman.
Mr Dobler advised that they had placed about GRAVEL AT

Paterson then thanked Council and left the meeting It
was agreec that he be sent a note of thanks for the
pictures.

Engineer, had earlier advised that a change of the route
for the 1 wer part of the hill would mean moving approx-
imately 2 0,000 cu.yds. of dirt and would result in a
fill over 601 high All of the Council and the Sec -Treas
had been et this site on Wednesday, so they were reason-
ably familiar with the details
The Secretary- Treasurer advised Council that he
had been in touch with Hon Gordon Taylor, Minister of
Highways, by telephone on other matters, and had asked
if It mig t be possible to get a special grant of

the present route on'the Orkney hill with modifications

holes, place several culverts across the road for better

to her assessment of the NE- 28- 31 -24 -4 The Secretary -
Treasurer advised that an error had been made in the
assessment of that land as no allowance had been made
for a roa diversion which cuts through it Mr
Peters mo ed that this be referred to Mr George Park
Assessor, upon his return from holidays, and that an
adjustmen be later made for 1966. Carried.
Mr Peters moved that Mr Gordon L Park be now
paid $300 for EMO work for tre period from April 1,
1966 to S ptember 30th/66. Carried.

project was discussed briefly. Mr. Ralph Brown agreed MIXER
to see Mr. Boake further regarding his machine and it was
also agre d that someone contact Mr Wm Goett of Calgary.
